Hello everyone,
Are you ready for 2015? What is your New Year's resolution? If it is losing weight then you are not alone. Why is this such a popular request each year and why is it so difficult?
Well first it is not an overnight process so that is the something you have to come to terms with. Also expect some bumps in the road or barriers. Even after a while it becomes difficult and excuses starts to settle in. This is why perhaps having someone along this journey would help. Not only for support but to get you through the rough times.
In addition try bonding more with old friends, a lack of social bonds can produce poor health such as drinking and smoking. If you smoke try to quit and the same goes for drinking. Try to cut back on the alcohol.
Money plays a big role in a healthy lifestyle, find a way to cut back such as trips to Starbucks and eating out.
Stress unfortunately exist in our lives whether they're small or large. Try to cut or reduce the stress by working out, eat healthier and enjoy time with friends and family.
I know many ask themselves why they even bother if all the above I've mentioned plays a part in your life that you can't shake off. I believe that even if you try it will at least make yourself feel better. Feeling good about yourself is a healthy sign and promotes good thoughts and action. Have you done any volunteer work? It is a very rewarding feeling.
Don't be discouraged and don't be afraid. Just keep trying and you'll be on your way to feeling better one day at a time.
I hope this blog was somewhat helpful and wish you all the best and happy year!

What do you believe?
Ah.............fall is finally here. It is about 59 degrees right now. I woke up to find the house a little bit chilly. I open the windows and hear the birds singing, it feels cool and it smells nice. I also finally tasted Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks minus the cool whip. It tasted ok but not something I would get again.
Last night I watched a movie called " The Fourth Kind" and it was scary. It's about a non human kind that enters our world and abducts humans. It looked like a true story being told in a movie but I don't think it is real. But are there unexplained activities around us? Do we really have aliens? If you truly seen one here on earth, wouldn't the government or someone tell you not to say anything. Not to mention that a majority will probably not even believe you.
What about all those alien encounters on news articles? I have seen them on the history or discovery channels. How do they get the information for publishing? Don't they need some sort of proof or facts for validity in order to publish them? The Fourth Kind did make it seem like it was told from a true story but I don't think it acknowledged it as a nonfiction. You know how some movies will state in the opening that this is a true story. As for me I don't believe it in because I have personally not seen it. I have yet to meet someone that says they truly seen or came across one. I have seen people on TV who say they saw a flying object but how do we know for sure what it was? It could be anything or it could be something. And who knows? Maybe there are others out there. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
Let me know. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Fall season is here!
Are you ready for scarves, hats, long sleeves and boots? Most of us get excited for fall because we get to wear new or bring out appropriate fall clothing. I'm sure a lot of you buy new stuff too like me! We get to wear darker lipstick like a burgundy or mauve type color which is one of my favorite things to do for fall. And of course we can't forget pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks! Believe it or not I have yet to try this, I'm not a pumpkin fan but I think I will try it this season so I can see for myself what the hype is.
So what is your favorite fall item?
Here I am wearing Sephora luster matte lipstick in Mulberry Luster; it has great staying power. I love this color and it definitely stains your lips.
Hope everyone is having a great day Sunday!

Still Thinking About Your Ex
Do you ever think about your ex? I have a friend that is having a hard time with a break up. So of course my brain is wondering if there is a time frame for these types of occurrence. Is it normal when you can get over your ex within a couple of days or weeks? Does that make you cold hearted? How long does it take for most people to let the past go and start over again? Several months or up to a year perhaps?
Personally this is a very interesting subject because I love to seek different opinions and views from others. What makes them hang on and what makes them afraid of letting go. Of course a major part of this probably depends on what went wrong in the relationship and the type of person you are. Like who broke it off first, who did what, who was cheating, who was carrying an affair and all that drama stuff.
In my personal opinion I think there are far worse things to go through in life than a failed marriage or failed relationship with your partner. For example you can have bad health, or a loved one that has passed, such a parent, or a child. What about a missing child? Isn't that just a horrible feeling where you have no clue on the whereabouts of your child. And the unthinkable thought seeps in you even when you try to push it away. The thought of wondering if your child is still alive. You're hoping, and praying to God for him to bring your child back alive. You start to make bargains and negotiate with him just to have your baby back. These are some examples that I can think of the top of my head.
I guess what I am trying to say here is that losing your significant other is indeed heartbreaking but it is not the end of the world. I think the healing process for everyone is different and we have to remember that some things happen for a reason. You may not understand the reason and that is ok. You are still living and breathing so you will have another chance to make this right. Take it one day at a time and know that the best is ahead of you. Don't let this defeat you. It is not going to be easy but don't give up. Don't ever let go of hope and faith. Always believe!

Do dreams come true?
Have you ever encounter a deja vu moment? Or ever get this strange feeling that you have experienced this exact moment before perhaps in a dream? And what do dreams mean? Why do we dream? Are dreams a prediction of our life?
I do not dream often but some of my dreams do come true in life. And I can tell that it is not just my imagination because I used to keep a journal. When I would have the deja vu feeling I would check my journal to see if I documented this as a dream. The results are chilling but it comforts me to know that not all of my dreams come to life. Can you imagine if you had a terrible dream knowing that it would come true later down the road?
Speaking of dreams, have you seen the movie Inception http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1375666/
It is a very good movie that describes dreams in a very unique creative way. I have to admit that I was confused the first time I saw this movie and had to watch it a few more times. It makes me wonder if dreams can really be stolen.
Anyways, my question to you today is have you seen something before that gave you the feeling that you have seen or felt it before? If so did this freak you out?
Love to hear your thoughts.
Here is a picture of one of my cats name Tilly; she's so cute in this picture with her eyes half closed.

Do you mean what you say
Something to ponder............
You know the saying "let me know if you need anything" when you have encountered something in life such as when a family member passed away or when someone is in the hospital? People often respond with "oh I'm sorry to hear that, let me know if there is anything I can do, or let me know if there is anything you need". My question to you today is if you were to say that would you really mean it?
Also if you were the receiver of this statement, would you really call upon that request? Let's say we do and tell the person, "well yes, can you bring some food over" or "I am going to have some difficulty paying the electric bill this month because of X,Y,Z would you mind paying it for me"
What would you say to them? Ok I could say yes to the food since that is not going to cost as much but paying your electric bill? Now that is another story.
Now I'm speaking of mainly friends, co-workers or acquaintances. I am taking immediate family out of this because family are most likely to help family out.
I don't know if there is anyone like me that wonder if people mean what they say in these types of situation. Especially when they say "just let me know if there's anything I can do" First I don't know what you can do, and second I wouldn't ask you for anything anyways. This leads me to believe that this is just a saying that goes with the type of situation that occurs. But.......what if I do ask you to do something, will you do it for me?
So if you were in mourning would you call upon their request if they offered it? And if you were offering support, would you truly commit yourself to do it?
Love to hear your thoughts.

My Very First Blog Entry!
Yay! Finally a blog.
Thanks to my little precious daughter for helping me start a blog. This is something that I have been wanting to do for a while but didn't know where to start. I researched it online and there were so many good resources available. But at the end I decided to make it simple and start free! Hey I got to start somewhere right?
Things to expect from reading my blog could contain an array of topics. It can be about a life event, gratitude, someone's feelings, way of life, personalities, being social etc etc. I wonder at times what others are thinking or if anyone else is thinking the same as me. And believe me I would go out there and ask some friends or co-workers to hear their point of view. And I often wonder what others are thinking that are not my friends or family. So this is where blogging comes in.
If you have read this far then I truly appreciate your interests. I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you.
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend so far.
